Seven years ago, I began practising yoga. My Pilates teacher suggested I try a yoga class, she said that I would love it. She was right!
I love the physical side of yoga but there is so much more to yoga than stretch and strength. I also love that I feel calm and relaxed after a class and that I can maintain that sense of calm off the mat. Through practising yoga, I have learned to pay attention to breath, alignment and self-awareness; to be aware of the present moment.
The practice of yoga has taught me so much and there is always more to learn. At Power House Yoga, I come away from each visit having learned something new.
